The girl, who was charged with attempted homicide as an adult, wanted the posters in her room returned. But her grandmother thought they were inappropriate, police said.

The 13-year-old girl, who lives on the 300 block of Main Street in Milton, made the threats after state police arrived at her family home and arrested her at around 4:30 p.m. Monday. The teenager began arguing with her grandmother before she drew a long knife, Harvey said. The girl’s father then bear-hugged her as she began poking the knife’s handle into his left leg, according to Harvey.
The girl said she only had to make one phone call and her grandmother and father would be dead, according to Harvey. She later told police she planned to stab both of them with the knife when her sister was not looking, according to Harvey.
