A 13-year-old girl was injured by gunfire Sunday afternoon when she was playing with her siblings outside her family’s apartment on the West Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department. About 2:15 p.m., officers were called for a shooting in progress in the 5600 block of Culebra Road. When they arrived, they found a girl with her parents with a wound to her foot. The girl said she was outside the apartment when she heard a shot and then felt her foot get struck.There is no information yet about the cause of gunfire. The investigation is ongoing.
