From colorful cashmere knits to the perfect black pump, this is what the fashion mogul and former J.Crew executive is buying.
Jenna Lyons knows that a wardrobe piece you’ll treasure for years to come doesn’t have to come with an excessive price tag. Since her days serving as the creative director and president at J.Crew, the designer-turned-fashion-mogul has not only made affordable luxury mainstream, but she has also made it incredibly cool.
“There’s something quite chic about taking something luxurious and making it completely wearable,” Lyons tells Bazaar. It’s this approach that led her to partner with Aritzia for its Fall 2025 cashmere campaign. “Cashmere can sometimes feel precious, like the thing you take out only for special occasions. What I love about Aritzia’s is that it’s meant to be lived in. Pieces like the Essential Cashmere Relaxed Crew Sweater or Relaxed Boatneck Sweater are modern, versatile, and they don’t ask you to save them for later.”This fall, Lyons is looking forward to layers—lots of them. “I like to play with proportions; maybe it’s a wide pant like Aritzia’s Effortless Pant with a cropped knit, or something loose with a tailored piece. It’s the season where you can lean into warmth without feeling heavy. I always come back to cashmere because it has this ability to feel indulgent but still completely practical.”As for inspiration, she continues to find herself drawn to contrasting elements—colors, textures, and shapes that seemingly push off each other to highlight their distinctive qualities. “Soft–sharp against organic shapes, tailoring with an element of femininity,” says Lyons. It’s this striking visual approach that cemented her place as one of contemporary fashion’s greats and continues to serve as a reference point for women shopping today.Below, Lyons shares 13 things exciting her this season, from a cherry red crewneck cardigan to the most glamorous candlesticks fit for early autumn soirées—or an intimate dinner for two.
