An 11-year-old from Watford has won a global art competition for her ‘Life on the Moon’ drawing.
Katie Moiseeva, from Watford, got a silver award in the final of the 2023 Toyota Dream Car Art competition.
She received the ‘Best Finalist’ prize, which included £2,367 and a framed certificate for her drawing, which depicts people living on the moon and an electric car that has a library and shop in it.Katie said: “I would like to say a big thank you to Toyota. This was a great opportunity to share my dreams of the future.
“I will probably buy a new upright piano, as music has always had a special place in my heart. I will also certainly buy a new set of watercolours and paint brushes.”
