Sofia Mercado, Haedyn Lynch, Olivia Silvas and Allie Davis won Team Mask Design at the Texas Thespians State Festival.Eleven thespians from Dickinson High School have qualified to attend the 2023 International Thespian Festival following a sweep of awards this month at a state competition.
Among the winners was senior Brianna Delaney, who was one of only eight students chosen to reprise her performance on the main stage of the festival’s finale. “We are so proud of her hard work and her dedication to her art. The winning strategy of DHS students Maia Morales Morales, Leah Luna, Natalie Glukhenkiy and Kennady Spies was to create costumes for the characters of Ruth Condomime, a practical 1940s socialite, and the ghost of her husband’s first wife, the tempestuous Elvira Condomime.
