Police say their investigation into drug sales at the Metro Inn on Golfair Boulevard began in January 2026. Over several months, undercover detectives purchased synthetic drugs known as “Flakka” from individuals selling out of the motel. Prior to this investigation, JSO says officers responded to repeated calls for service at the motel involving drug activity, violence, thefts, and other criminal behavior.
