103,197 postal ballot papers issued for state polls, Kuala Terengganu by-election

EC secretary Ikmalrudin Ishak said for the state polls, 102,070 postal ballot papers were issued, consisting of 87,666 for category 1A, which are election workers, EC members and officers, police and military personnel as well as media practitioners. He also said 1,127 postal ballot papers for the Kuala Terengganu by-election were issued – category 1A , category 1B , category 1C and absentee voters .
“The process was carried out in the presence of postal ballot agents from all the candidates,” he said.
