The Ode Family Foundation and Columbia Community Foundation donate to The Road to Hope for Trinity House, set to open in October.

The Ode Family Foundation and the Columbia Community Foundation gave a combined gift of $100,000 to fund the construction of Trinity House, a recovery center for women with children in Lorain County overcoming addiction. In this image, Trinity House is seen in an architect rendering.

The gift will allow The Road to Hope to renovate a former nursing home in Columbia Township, also called Columbia Station, into a facility that will house more than 100 women and children, the foundations said. The former nursing home is currently vacant. Trinity House will provide residents with addiction recovery services as well as classes on life skills such as resume writing, job hunting, budgeting, relapse prevention and more, the foundations said.
