The Office of Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Newark cited ongoing financial challenges as one of the reasons for the closure.
Citing a decline in enrollment, ongoing financial challenges and the condition of the facility, the Archdiocese of Newark announced Wednesday that
“We deeply regret the necessity of this decision and understand the profound impact it will have on our students, families, faculty and staff,” Barbara Dolan, Superintendent of Catholic Schools, said in a statement.
