"It's not until you get to this stage where you can think back and go, 'Holy moly, this is truly an amazing specimen'."The ancient fossil was discovered at the bottom of a dry creek bed on Marathon Station, 50 kilometres west of Richmond. "We'll have a special case that Jeppy will go into … so it will be able to be viewed in all its glory.
