Before helping Godzilla beat Ghidorah in Destroy All Monsters, Kumonga was featured in Son of Godzilla as a creature terrorizing Godzilla’s son, Minilla. In a fun, father-and-son team-up, Godzilla and Minilla used their atomic breath to rid Monster Island of the giant arachnid.
5 Godzilla vs. Megaguirus – Godzilla vs. Megaguirus Debuting in the Millennium series as a mutated, prehistoric dragonfly queen, Megaguirus never became more than a one-off Godzilla villain. That being the case, Megaguirus’ one big-screen battle with Godzilla is still one to behold, as it culminated in an intense confrontation at the end of the film.
