As she recalls her night with the aliens, Gosling does his best to hide his laughter but is unable to stay in character as McKinnon's lines get increasingly hilarious and off-the-wall. Strong also uses the break to slip in a witty line about Gosling's character crying rather than laughing.
The moment that Farrell enters, the sketch is elevated immensely. The fact that both Fallon and Hayes are unable to stop laughing is absolutely hilarious and totally understandable, especially once Ferrell uses a very tiny cell phone. After that, neither of his co-stars is able to fully slip back into character for the rest of the sketch. It is yet another extremely memorable moment from Ferrell's tenure on the show, illustrating why many view him as one of its best cast members.
3 "Beavis and Butt-Head" Season 49, Episode 17 "Beavis and Butt-Head" is a sketch that depicts a town hall event that is derailed by two audience members who just happen to look like Beavis and Butt-Head , the title characters from the animated series of the same name. The sketch is largely considered another highlight of Gosling's appearances on the show, largely because of just how fun it is to watch him, Day and Heidi Gardner break character the entire time.
