Mathias Lewis opened Knowhere in 2016 after working in the industry for years. He tried his luck as a writer for DC and others, but decided his talents were best used behind a counter. His store is a vast trove of pop culture memorabilia that has a little bit of everything. Customers are met with a sea of Funko Pops, gaming guides and even an entire section for dice upon entering.

The store’s adjoining game room houses several shelves of board games and six open tables for customers to use for playing. As for the actual comics, Knowhere has a designated “rare variant cover” section complete with the most valuable comics displayed on the wall. The rest of the comics are organized by fandom andindividual issues are housed front and center in huge cardboard boxes. Specially marked 30% off boxes and “complete storyline” bundle boxes line the floor of this area.
