KUALA LUMPUR: Ten individuals were remanded while another 10 were issued with compounds for violating the recovery movement control order (MCO), says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The Senior Minister said those reprimanded included six for illegally participating in karaoke activities at entertainment outlets and eight at pubs and nightclubs on Saturday ."It involved 15,432 enforcement personnel," he said in a statement on Sunday .

On another matter, Ismail Sabri said the police conducted 60 roadblocks nationwide and detained 14 foreigners for immigration violations during Ops Benteng on Saturday."Ops Benteng is aimed at boosting security at the country's borders and entry points," he added.
