I got my start in politics in 2016, organizing for Senator Bernie Sanders’s presidential campaign on NC State’s campus, and seeing student volunteers take leadership positions on my campaign gives me hope for our future. Young voters are demanding big, structural changes to our political system, which has been stagnant for a long time.
