Marc-Andre Fleury made his sixth straight start and was terrific. He stopped all 37 shots he faced to earn his third shutout of the season and 70th of his NHL career. What a player.The Blackhawks scored the first goal, and it was an absolutely wild sequence.
He had a season-high six shots on goal and won nine of 15 faceoffs for a win percentage of 60. One of his best opportunities came in the second period when his shot went off the knob of Ducks goaltender Lukas Dostal.The Ducks recorded 37 shots on goal. Only 10 of them came from the slot, per Sportlogiq. Six of those slot shots came in the third period. The Blackhawks protected the house well.Sam Lafferty has been impressive in his two games with the Blackhawks so far.
