Sometimes we need a break from all that high-powered cheer. So here’s a list of 10 not-so-Christmasy Christmas movies for you to enjoy this holiday season.
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouriis a tale about two hitmen, played by Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, who for a number of reasons are forced to take a vacation in Belgium during Christmas. The two are a spectacular rendition of the misfits from—attempting to be tourists in Bruges and begrudgingly take in some of the Christmas sights, all while trying to hide out and not get killed in the process.
Tony goes through an almost Ebenezer Scroogesque transformation throughout the film, ultimately destroying all of the suits he has created and proclaiming “My armor was never a distraction or a hobby. It was a cocoon. And now, I’m a changed man.” It took people's combined efforts throughout the movie to make him evaluate not just his present, but his past and future. And with the help of Pepper, Rhodey, and budding tech wiz Harley, he is able to do just that.
