Yuki, Jogo, and Junpei from Jujutsu Kaisen
Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most popular recent shonen series, but not every character is appreciated equally. Standouts like Gojo Satoru and Yuji Itadori have become cultural icons who are well-known even outside the anime fandom. Their tremendous strength, jaw-dropping powers, distinct character designs, and remarkable personalities have helped them become long-lasting heroes, but they are not the only characters in the story who matter.
Hanami was eventually killed by Gojo, but before their death, they made a massive impact on the series that deserves recognition. They fought some of the series' strongest sorcerers, including Gojo, Yuji, and Todo, and held their own. Their nature-themed character design, Disaster Plants Innate Technique, and surprisingly rational desire to protect the planet makes them one of the series' best villains.
When the Curses struck back against Kokichi and his classmates, he fought with all his might to protect himself and his loved ones with his new body. Mahito and Geto killed him fairly early on in season two of the series, leaving him with little time to explore and enhance the power of his new, healed body. Had Mechamaru stayed alive longer, he could have accomplished even greater feats with his resolve and cleverness, but his last battle sealed his tragic fate.
6 Mai Zenin Mai Works Around Her Low Cursed Energy and Even Protected Her Sister’s Life Close Of the Zenin sisters, Mai is the lesser known, playing a smaller role in the series than her sister, Maki. Both her and Maki grew up in the same oppressive Zenin clan, but chose very different paths for their lives. While Maki rebelled and went off on her own, Mai wanted to abide by the clan's rules, but became a sorcerer anyway.
4 Toge Inumaki Toge Did Not Fight After the Shibuya Incident Arc, Never Reaching His Full Potential Close Toge Inumaki's Cursed Technique is one of the most intriguing and unmatched in Jujutsu Kaisen. The semi-grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer utilizes Cursed Speech, which allows him to attack with only his voice. As can be imagined, this ability is unstoppable, allows for many creative uses, and can be fatal.
2 Todo Aoi After the Shibuya Incident Arc, Todo Sadly Pretty Much Disappears From the Story Close Todo Aoi, Yuji's self-proclaimed"best friend", is one of the series' fan-favorite characters. From his eccentric personality and love for the idol, Takada, to his remarkable Boogie Woogie clapping technique and Black Flash, he is an unforgettable hero. Todo played a major role in some of Jujutsu Kaisen's best battles, including the final fight against Mahito.
