While Baldur's Gate 3 has a plethora of complex characters to meet, there are also some pretty funny people in Faerûn to keep players chuckling.

While some characters add to the tension and story with serious cutscenes and complex questlines, others provide some much-needed fun throughout the game. They don’t all have huge roles to play in the epic plot, but every time one of these characters is on the screen, it is a joy.
8 His Majesty His Majesty is a cat found in the Last Light Inn in Act 2 of BG3, who has no problem telling the party they are in his territory. His Majesty is fantastically voiced acted by Steven Boxer, who also provided the voice of Withers, bringing to life the grumpiest of kitties. His Majesty is a wonderful break from the oppressive darkness looming outside in the Shadow-Cursed Lands as he begrudgingly allows the party to be in his presence.
4 Malta While exploring Baldur’s Gate, the party might meet a very special ginger cat called Malta. Using speak with animals, one of the best spells in BG3, to talk to Malta will lead to one of the weirdest and funniest conversations, as the cat speaks like he’s just walked out of a classic film noir. Malta can be spoken to in the same manner, unlocking his secret quest to find him a place to live in the strangest but amusing way.
