Even before the beginning of the MCU’s movie timeline, Marvel Comics characters were being adapted to the big screen in awe-inspiring fashion. Bringing iconic and lesser-known characters to life in equal measure, Marvel movies have been delivering impressive adaptations of the comics for many decades.

The MCU design of Thanos is perfectly comic-accurate, and Brolin’s deep and gravelly voice is an exceptional representation of Thanos’ fearful charisma. Thanos is a role that Brolin played to perfection, from his very first brief appearance right up to his iconic final moments in Avengers: Endgame.
Hiddleston’s performance in the role is packed with small touches that make it truly excellent. Notes of emotion are mixed with more traditional villainy, with Loki’s grandiose opinions of himself comedically placing him at odds with the MCU’s heroes on multiple occasions. Hiddleston’s ability to transform into Loki is remarkable, making him entirely perfect in the role throughout Loki’s MCU story.
