Dinosaurs return in Jurassic World Rebirth
The Jurassic Park franchise features many prominent dinosaurs throughout its six movies, many of which should return in Jurassic World: Rebirth. The Velociraptors and Tyrannosaurus Rex have been staple Jurassic Park dinosaurs since their first appearance in the original 1993 Stephen Spielberg film as they have appeared in every movie in the franchise.
The Dilophosaurus has been contested over the years due to its inaccuracies. Although the Dilophosaurus did have two thin crests of bone on its head, they didn’t have frills or the ability to spit venom, and they were much bigger in real life. These attributes were made up for the films.
8 Microceratus Jurassic World Dominion Close Although most of the drama comes from the exciting thrill of deadly carnivorous dinosaurs, some of the most touching scenes in Jurassic Park have included herbivores. For example, the most memorable moment in which the dinosaurs are first revealed in their natural environment in 1997’s Jurassic Park features only Brachiosaurus and Parasaurolophus.
6 Pachycephalosaurus The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic World Close The Pachycephalosaurus is first seen being captured in The Lost World: Jurassic Park due to the InGen team’s gathering of dinosaurs for transportation to San Diego’s awaiting theme park. However, the Pachycephalosaurus, among other dinosaurs, manage to escape the camp when Nick Van Owen and Sarah Harding sneak into the camp and free them.
✕ Remove Ads 4 Quetzalcoatlus Jurassic World Dominion Close Pteranodon have appeared in every Jurassic Park movie since The Lost World: Jurassic Park, making them a staple in the franchise. However, the introduction of the Quetzalcoatlus showcased a new type of Pterosaur that was even more deadly.
✕ Remove Ads In Jurassic Park III, the Spinosaurus was capable of defeating a Tyrannosaurus Rex and it is argued to be one of the longest carnivorous dinosaurs at 14 meters in length. Its remarkable sail-like spine and deadly nature make the Spinosaurus stand out among other dinosaurs, but it has only appeared alive once in the franchise so far.
