Indeed, many of film's worst villains deserve humiliating deaths, and this can lead to scenes that are highly satisfying for the movie's heroes and audiences alike. At the same time, it can be hilarious when great and formidable antagonists end up dying in the dumbest possible ways.
10 Pennywise - It Chapter Two The It Chapter Two ending sees Pennywise essentially getting killed by insults. The Losers figure out that Pennywise's weakness is being made to feel small, so they hurl insults at the villain, which literally shrinks Pennywise to a harmless size. With their tormentor significantly weakened, Mike rips out Pennywise's heart, which the Losers crush with their hands.
7 The Shark - Jaws: The Revenge The ending of Jaws: The Revenge has two versions, and one is more embarrassing than the other. In the original finale, after Jake draws out the shark using electrical impulses, Ellen steers the broken bowsprit of a sailboat into the shark's body, impaling and killing the monster. The Blu-ray version plays out the same way, but instead of the shark simply dying from being impaled, it also explodes for no discernible reason.
4 Jabba The Hutt - Return Of The Jedi In the Return of the Jedi scene that many consider to be proof of how Princess Leia used the dark side of the Force unwittingly, Leia chokes Jabba the Hutt to death using the very chain that kept her bound to him as a trophy. Whether Leia tapped into the Force or not, Jabba secured his own place among incredibly powerful movie villains killed in embarrassing ways.
