Megan Fox's recent science fiction movie, Subservience, is now trending on Netflix, and new audiences are loving the movie. Fox stars alongside a talented cast in Subservience, in which she plays a sentient android that is originally purchased to help assist Nick and his family with domestic tasks. However, as in similar robot movies like I, Robot and Ex Machina, Fox's AI Alice has ulterior motives that are revealed as the movie progresses.
✕ Remove Ads Since Fox is the only consistent character throughout the film, its reception relies largely on her performance, and her cunning attempts to protect herself and escape from the killers do not disappoint. Fox's Jonah Hex character Lilah Black is somewhat different to Subservience's Alice on the surface, but their characters actually do share some traits, which is what makes the pairing so exciting. Lilah Black is a confident and strong character who is able to think on her feet, despite briefly being pushed into the position of stereotyped damsel in distress. Likewise, Alice is smart and sure, but she diverges from Lilah with her malicious cunning.

The two still carry some feelings for each other, and she remains interested in his MMA career despite their break-up. Alongside the growing feelings of the two main characters, Fox's Juliana adds some tension to the relationship.
