Goodfellas, directed by Martin Scorsese, is one of the most iconic crime films of all time. The film, which received six Academy Awards nominations, is based on the non-fiction novel Wise Guys by Nicholas Pileggi, who also co-wrote the script. Goodfellas follows Henry Hill as he moves up in the mafia. Since Goodfellas came out in 1990, it has cemented itself as an influential film in pop culture.
