Edward Michael King, 58, of Avella, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident occurred around 4:10 p.m. along the 400 block of Washington Pike in Independence Township.
Edward Michael King, 58, of Avella, was pronounced dead at the scene according to WPXI. He had been driving east when his vehicle collided with another traveling in the opposite direction. He was driving alone and not wearing a seatbelt, officials said. The driver of the second car was a Claysville woman in her 30s. She was taken to a hospital but the extent of her injuries is not know, WPXI said.
