BREAKING: Authorities are responding to a crash where they say an innocent man was killed and others were injured following a chase in northwest Harris County.
According to officials in the Cy-Fair area, deputies were called to the location in response to a family disturbance. As deputies were responding to the call, the suspect reportedly sped off.
After failing to pull over, deputies say they were led on a short chase before the suspect’s vehicle went airborne and crashed into at least two other vehicles in the 4900 Block of Greenhouse Road. Cy-Fair officials said three people from the suspect’s vehicle were transported to the hospital by ambulance.An adult male who had to be flown by LifeFlight was pronounced dead at the hospital. That man’s 8-year-old passenger was also transported by LifeFlight.
