A person was fatally shot on a DART train Sunday afternoon, according to Dallas Area Rapid Transit officials.
A gunman killed a person and injured two others during a shooting Sunday afternoon onboard aAbout 4:30 p.m. Sunday, officers were notified of a shooting on a northbound DART Rail Green Line train near Hatcher Station on Elsie Faye Heggins Street in South Dallas, DART spokesman Gordon Shattles said.
Officers found two people who had been shot at the location and both were transported to a hospital, where one of them later died, Shattles said. A third person who was either grazed by a bullet or injured by shrapnel was treated at the scene and released by emergency crews, he said.Read the crime and public safety news your neighbors are talking about.
