A Phenix City man was shot in the shoulder by Lee County deputies Monday after he allegedly pointed a weapon at deputies.
The incident occurred in the 100 block of Lee Road 482 on Nov. 4 in the Phenix City area of Lee County. According to authorities, they received a 911 call from a male stating that he was going to kill himself, but the individual would not give any information and hung up the phone.
