The driver and passengers didn't follow officers' commands and fled, striking a police vehicle, according to a statement from Chicago police.One officer fired toward the vehicle as it fled the scene, authorities said. A person of interest was placed into custody, and the vehicle was later found in the 100 block of West North Avenue, police stated.
The specifics of the incident were being investigated by Chicago's Civilian Office of Police Accountability.
