The crash happened on Route 31.
The wreck happened just before 1:30 p.m. in the four-way intersection and Route 31 was shut until just before 4 p.m. for the investigation, according to a report from the scene.
The victim, whose age and hometown were not immediately available, was driving a Ford Taurus which collided with Nissan Rogue, according to the report from the scene. The Ford was struck on the driver’s side and the Nissan had heavy front-end damage. The Taurus ended up off the side of Route 31, while the Rogue stopped in the middle of the intersection.Rymon Road has stop signs on both sides of the intersection.
