1 dead, 3 injured after quadruple shooting at Houston nightclub, police say
The shooting happened around 2 a.m. on Southmore and Live Oak, Houston police Cmdr. Caroleta Johnson said.
According to Johnson, the shooting was prompted by an argument between a man and a woman in the nightclub. The argument spilled out into the parking lot, a large fight ensued and that's when guns were pulled, she said.A woman was shot in the neck and two men were shot in the leg area, Johnson said. The man who was killed was in his 20s or 30s, but police have not identified him.
"We do not know the roles that these particular victims played in the disturbance that happened here tonight," Johnson said. The three people who were injured are in stable condition, and police will be interviewing them and other witnesses to figure out exactly what happened, according to Johnson. Security video will also be watched to see who fired the shots, she said.
