1 person died and another person was seriously injured after a 4-vehicle crash at the intersection of US 40 and state Route 32 in Wasatch County this morning. UDOT currently estimates the crash will be cleared by 3 p.m.
The Utah Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash at the intersection of U.S. 40 and state Route 32 at about 11 a.m. Details about the crash were not immediately released.
One lane of U.S. 40 remains closed in each direction, while SR-32 remains closed in both directions, according to the Utah Department of Transportation. Troopers said they estimate that eastbound SR-32 lanes will reopen in the early afternoon and westbound lanes will reopen an hour or two after that.
