Dallas Police are investigating a crash after officials say a vehicle crashed into two homes early Sunday morning in the Wolf Creek area of Dallas. The crash happened around 3:15 a.m. in the 6800 block of Woodwick Dr after a vehicle was speeding down Woodwick Drive and veered off the road, driving through the yards of two Dallas homes, before hitting concrete and slamming into the front of the first Dallas home.
The vehicle then ricocheted off this home, went airborne and ended up wedged inside a second Dallas home. The home is now boarded up after crews were able to pull out the vehicle without causing any more damage to the home.Dallas police tell FOX 4 that the driver died on scene and the passenger was taken to the hospital in critical condition.One of the victims from the first Dallas residence says his home may not be structurally sound, according to what authorities told him on Sunday morning, but no one inside the home was injured.A man who lives in the neighborhood said it sounded like two sonic booms.The owner of the second Dallas home was Anthony Howard Jr and his wife. "This is my first home. Unfortunate events are all I can say. I am at a loss for words. I just can’t understand. It's traumatizing, yes. I just can’t disclose how I really feel," said Howard."People of Dallas, be very careful when you are behind the wheel."The identities of the two people in the vehicle have not been released.
