Officers responded to a shooting call around 1:30 a.m. to the 7700 block of Bretshire Drive. Police said an altercation occurred between a suspect and two adult male victims who were attending the gathering. According to investigators, the suspect shot both men. One victim was shot in the chest.
The second victim was shot in the neck and chest. Police said a woman drove one of the victims to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition. The other victim was pronounced dead at the scene, behind a vehicle parked in front of the home. Investigators said the motive for the argument remains unknown.
