“There are criteria and guidelines to determine the applicant’s eligibility,” he said in a briefing to a delegation of the Implementation Coordination Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department, Sabah Development Office led by Director Samsul Dollah. Awang said since the country was hit by Covid-19, some of the KIRs were affected and lost their source of income. The rise in the costs of living also causes pressure on the economy of these groups, he added.
