A total of 1,000 families in Antique, which was severely affected by Severe Tropical Storm PaengPH, received help from the GMA Kapuso Foundation.
According to a "24 Oras" report Thursday, among the beneficiaries was Ana Liza Trinidad and other farmers. Their only source of living was washed away by strong rains and winds.
They are currently busy checking if they can still make use of some rice. However, they would only be able to sell it for P8 instead of P13. "S'yempre nanlulumo ka. Anong nangyari? Wala na. Ito lang kinabubuhay namin. Wala kaming masaka at wala kaming makain," Trinidad said. The GMA Kapuso Foundation is accepting donations through bank deposits, Cebuana Lhuillier, GCash, Shopee, PayMaya, Zalora, MegaMart, Globe Rewards, Metrobank credit card, and Lazada.
